Can I Study At CUT With 21 Points In 2025

Study Undergraduate Programmes At CUT 2025:

The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT), is South Africa’s premier higher education institution, focused on quality education and training in science, engineering, and technology. CUT has grown into a leading institution, recognized both nationally and internationally. It offers a variety of qualifications across four faculties: Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology; Health and Environmental Sciences; Management Sciences; and Humanities.

The Central University Of Technology popularly known as CUT is currently accepting applications for 2025 academics. To apply, applicants have to meet the cut point which is APS 27. Applicants to CUT with APS 21 or less are not eligible to apply. An applicant with an APS of less than 27 must rewrite their matric to be considered for admission.

Undergraduate certificate and diploma applicants from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and non-SADC regions do not need a matric exemption or endorsement from the Matriculation Board (USAf) and are not required to have their school-leaving qualifications evaluated by SAQA, subject to each faculty’s specific qualification and compliance requirements.

Does CUT Accept APS 21 For 2025

• NO, A candidate scoring 21 points or less on CUT’s scoring scale will not be admitted.

The National Benchmark Test (NBT) is mandatory for all first-year applicants to higher education institutions. The test must be written before you can register to study at CUT.

CUT Admission Requirement 2025

to enroll at CUT you must meet the following standards;

• Admission Points (AP) minimum 27, matric pass
• Remember to write your NBT.
• The National Benchmark Test (NBT) is mandatory for all first-year applicants to higher education institutions.
• The test must be written before you can register to study at CUT.

International Applicants:

The following documentation should accompany your application to CUT:

• Certified copies of your foreign school leaving/ college/ university qualifications;
• Certified copy of your passport
• Certified copy of your SAQA evaluation certificate ( Foreign Qualifications)

• Current matriculants: upload final Grade 11 results or Grade 12 June results if available.
• Already matriculated applicants: you must send their certified ID and National Senior Certificate.
• Higher qualifications than matric: you must upload your certified ID, National Senior Certificate, your qualification(s) and study record.
• Postgraduate applicants: Engage with the Head of the Department / Assistant Deans, Research Innovation and Engagement to discuss research project for Masters or Doctorate study before applying
