Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) is one of the 50 TVET Colleges in South Africa, located in the eastern region of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM). The EMM consists of nine towns: Alberton, Benoni, Boksburg, Brakpan, Edenvale, Germiston, Kempton Park, Nigel, and Springs, along with 17 townships (EMM IDP 2015-16). Ekurhuleni’s unique geographical position enhances its importance. EEC operates across five towns within the EMM: Springs, Kwa-Thema, Daveyton, Benoni, and Brakpan. The college comprises six sites, with five campuses primarily offering NCV and Report 191 programs, and a sixth site functioning as a Centre of Specialisation.
