Student That Qualifies for NSFAS Funding 2025

TVET enrolled in a public TVET College or Public university and meeting the following requirements can apply for the NSFAS Fund

• Every South African citizen
• Every SASSA grant recipient qualifies for funding
• R350 000 per annum Applicant Combined Household Income
• A disability individual: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
• Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.

Student That Is Disqualified for NSFAS Funding 2025

• Applicant who has completed a previous qualification.
• Applicant with a combined household income of more than R350 000 per annum.
• Students who have already applied, qualified and received funding. They are automatically funded for the duration of their studies provided they pass their modules and meet the academic requirements.
