Situated in the eastern region of Gauteng province, South Africa, within the bustling Ekurhuleni metropolitan area, EEC is strategically located near major businesses like Gibela, Kimberly Clark, Mpack, Impala, Mettall, Gold 1, and others across various industries.

EEC stands proudly in the east as a leading educational institution with five campuses specializing in Engineering, Business, Social and Creative Studies, and a dedicated skills development and training site. Reflecting on the symbolism of the East—where wise men once journeyed and the sun never set—EEC is committed to excellence in fulfilling the mandate of the Department of Higher Education and Training.
